Sunday Missal Booklet

A beautiful Missal, very useful and convenient

This is an affordable booklet that can be ordered in quantity for a parish and to give away. It is a basic missalette that is convenient to carry.

I ordered this new booklet since my old one with the red cover was coming apart. I thought it was going to have the same size print as the old ones did. To my disappointment the print is significantly smaller and I struggle reading it. I hope Angelus Press goes back to the same size of letters used in the old red booklets. They were perfect. Not fair for older folks like me or anyone that does not have a perfect eyesight.

The daily missal, especially, is often complained of because of the to-ing and fro-ing between ordinary and proper sections, which can be a positive distraction. This booklet allows for easily following the mass and the margin notes are a great educator, especially for pointing out the significant differences between Tridentine and Novus Ordo forms. A criticism. A smaller, missal - sized format would be more convenient to use ( I feel ) and easier to fit in a pocket. But a small sacrifice to make for an excellent publication.

These are very helpful, when one is tired, and tempted to be distracted on a Sunday morning! Older kids (10 and up or so) can learn a great deal, using this as a home schooling tool.
