I consider it essential reading

This book has helped me tremendously in growing spiritually. The 12 chapters are broken up into smaller sections so it works well for daily meditation. The method given for mental prayer corresponds perfectly with the Catechism of Mental Prayer. Especially good for those of us finally getting serious about prayer and growing in holiness.
