This book changed me by revolutionizing my prayer life. As a new Catholic seeking tradition, this book is an excellent place to start.
Bonus: if you are Canadian or from another Commonwealth country, you will appreciate the familiar spelling in this book.

This book is a MUST, especially for teaching Catechism class. It has daily prayers and devotionals every Catholic should recite, a short catechism, and the complete spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. On top of that, the end has rules of the Society's third order and how to live a holier life, what to get rid of that will impede yours AND your family's spiritual life.
After reading this, I wanted to get the deluxe edition for more but they were sold out! I pray they will restock soon because these are a goldmine.

I just came back from an Ignatian Retreat held by the Fathers of SSPX. This little prayer book was loaned to us for the duration of the retreat. I found it very inspiring, that brought a lot of grace to the reader. Unfortunately; I was not allowed to keep it hence; I am reaching out to Angelus Press to please hurry up and obtain a copy for me as soon as possible please.

This book is great. It has a lot of good and traditional prayers and I use it very often.I also like the little catechism contained in it and the spiritual exercises included. It looks nice from the front, although the side binding is a little busy with all the imprints on it. I am, however, a little disappointed with the durability of the gold imprint. I use it often, but I haven't had it long nor do I bang it around a lot in a bag. However, the Coeur de Vendee is wearing off already.
