Fr. Joseph A. Dunney

SKU: 8300  |  ISBN: 9781892331519

"Let the youth use this book to learn the value of the Holy Mass" -Fr. Daniel Cooper, SSPX

If we are to instill a love for the Mass in our children, it is essential we educate them on the single most important act in human history: Christ's self-sacrifice on the cross. The Mass is that sacrifice, and this book is the key to developing a profound understanding of the Church's most precious sacrament.

This Catholic classic, explicitly written for young Catholics, is an illustrated commentary on the magnificent beauty and profound importance of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Fr. Dunney describes for the young Catholic reader the rich historical and religious significance of the role of the priest, vestments, sacred vessels, and liturgical symbols. Most importantly, it opens the door to the deeper meaning behind the culmination of the Church's sacramental life.

Great book for giving to those who inquire about the Latin Mass

This book is such a blessing to have on hand when trying to explain the Latin Mass to others! Also helps regular Latin Mass attendees who have no background experience.

Great resource!

We are in SSPX home mass served once a month by Father Katzaroff from El Paso and we have a few children who are doing their catechisms along with our home mass this will be a great resource to help teach them as I have a little free catholic library in the house that people borrow books from for all sorts of things.
