The Crisis of Doctrine and Papal Supremacy in the Modern Church

Today’s current situation in the Church shows the same modernist goal seen in liturgical changes like the New Mass: it undermines the very purposes it claims to support. To further this point, bishops worldwide increasingly question papal authority and doctrine, working consciously or unconsciously to subvert both.

Before the recent push for Synodality, the principal challenge to papal primacy came through Collegiality, which is an attempt to democratize ecclesiastical authority. This has now evolved into something more radical: the democratization of doctrine itself.

Synodality is a democratic revolution that transforms the Catholic Church’s hierarchical structure into Protestant-style roundtable governance that undermines papal primacy while forcing doctrinal adaptation to modern political sensibilities.

This book brilliantly dissects synodality’s errors through step-by-step explanations of where it went wrong and how. It is a crucial aid to navigating the murky waters of the Synodal Way and understanding why Catholic doctrine—and the papal primacy protecting it—cannot be changed. This volume is a must-read work for all, especially those wanting to understand the current religious conflicts that beset Holy Mother Church.

"Synodality: An Attack on Papal Authority" is a must read for every faithful Catholic.

We can no longer ignore this Serpent called Synodality now brazenly slithering in broad daylight through halls and chambers of the Vatican, attempting to inject its venom into the Mystical Body of Christ, falsely claiming that it is "the way" God is calling the Church to journey in the Third Millenium. It is not. The Serpent is and has always been the Father of Lies. Our Lord Jesus already showed us The Way, and it is not the way of the world, the way of sodomy, the worship of the earth and pagan gods, nor any of the other low-hanging putrid fruits with which the Serpent entices souls and leads them to their eternal ruin. We need to stand firm in the Faith that has been handed down to us throughout the centuries, remain steadfast at the foot of the Cross and seek refuge under Our Lady's most pure mantle, who will surely crush the head of this Serpent with her dainty heel whenever God so wills it.

Too abstract and dense for a layperson like me!

I am a physician, so reading difficult material is usually not a problem for me. However this is very abstract and dense to read. I think it is perfectly written for a priest or someone who plans to join the priesthood. I understood it to be saying that Synodality is a grave mistake, and it gave good reasons for that belief, but I didn’t necessarily need the level of detail in it.

Interesting, Informative, Enlightening

This book opened up the topic so I can discuss it with some backround not based on personal pejudice.

Outstanding!

If you care about how the Church is governed, how its authority structures function, and how doctrine may be influenced by shifts in governance, this book is highly recommended. It provides a clear lens through which to view the synodal movement and asks hard questions about what is at stake for the papacy and for Catholic identity more broadly.
