2021 Liturgical Daily Planner.
The long awaited Angelus Press daily planner is now available to all! This new product takes the favorite elements of our best-selling calendar and offers it as a highly functional, attractive, Traditional Catholic Daily Planner. It clearly indicates the class of the feast, the vestment color, the classic fish image for fast and abstinence days (as well as current disciplinary law and recommended traditional discipline for all days of fast and abstinence), as well as Holy Days of Obligation according to the 1962 Roman Missal.
It includes:
• Popular Saints of the Month illustrations and summaries
• Pages for Notes and Sketches
• Day-to-Day Entries, along with Month and Yearly Summaries
• Saint of the day, Class of feast, and Vestment color
• Days of Fast and Abstinence
• Holy Days of Obligation and much, much more!
This handy journal size planner is a must have for those Catholics who like to have something physical in which to schedule their day, week, month and year.
Stay organized and center your life around the great liturgical feasts of the year.
210 pp. Twin loop wire binding. 5.675" x 8.5"
I have used a lot of daily planners, but this has become my favorite as it not only helps me follow traditional Catholicism, but I like the format of the different sections, it has helped me become more organized and productive. And it is very handy and just the right size. I hope that Angelus Press will create one for 2022, soon!
Please move Sunday as the first day of the week and I will purchase some copies. I was looking for such a planner for Mass Intentions for a visiting priest who will substitute while our Canon is out of town and cannot use this version since it does not start with Sunday.
Thank you,
Janine
If you are a traditional Catholic, you need a traditional Catholic calendar. This gives you a great sense of the year. But to keep your life organized, journaling is a great way to do that. This is exactly what I was hoping for. If someone has ever used the "Bullet Journal" technique, this works extremely well for that. You won't be conversing with yourself or with God like in a diary, but marking down what you need to do for the month, day, and week. Not only is this journal perfect for doing that with but it also serves as a solid liturgical calendar. I can't believe that this isn't more popular, it really is an amazing product.
Addressing some of the concerns listed here by others:
1. The Sunday is indeed listed on the bottom right of two pages instead of at the top left of two pages. This is not the Angelus Press compromising with the secular world, it's just on the bottom right instead of the top left. Even though Sunday is indeed the first day of the week, I schedule my daily schedule in terms of completing the work I need to do on the weekdays, and then schedule the weekend separately, so I actually find this feature quite nice since Sunday is next to Saturday.
2. I'm using a ballpoint pen, it does bleed through somewhat but it's not that noticeable. I have the same small result with copy paper. It's not like the paper is a fine quality cardstock, but it's not bad at all.
This planner has MORE space on each entry than the competiting Catholic planner that incorporates the Traditional Latin Mass feast days. Unlike other Catholic planners that TRY to feature the General Roman Calendar of 1960 (and therefore of the calendar incorporated into the Roman Missal of 1962), this 2021 planner contain NO feast day errors.
In past years, and probably still, competing Catholic planners have INCORRECTLY indicated when Ember Days and the Rogation Days are. ALSO competing Catholic planner(s) mention "historical" feast days that NEVER existed to begin with!
I LOVE THIS PLANNER!
I use this planner as a liturgical planning tool for the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass as well as a method of record keeping for the intentions/stipends of my daily masses. I understand the negative reviews that state that this planner does not offer enough space for a daily planner, but, for my purposes, it is just perfect!
Angelus Press is the premier source of information on the Traditional Latin Mass and the practice of an integral Catholic Faith in today's world.
As an apostolate of the Catholic press, we have the mission of spreading the Catholic Faith through the printed word by our Traditional Catholic books and magazine publications.
