Just exactly what I wanted …

I wanted a D-R Bible, Challoner revision, to love and read daily. Beautifully hardback, excellent type and size, also love Pope Leo XIII’s encyclical. This is a product you leave out on the table beside your favorite chair so you can let it fill your home with its beauty and (most importantly) the Word.

I have owned several versions of the Douay-Rheims bible, including the so-called large print. They all have about a 12-font print. This version is by far my favorite. The pages are not super thin and the print is bold enough that it's easier to read than my other bibles. Hopefully, someone will come out with a true large font (14 or up) Douay Rheims. Until then, this one is my go-to.
