Love it!

I usually use Fr. Lasance's missal because, previously, that was the best for my aging vision. (The Common is printed on thicker paper for durability, but it also prevents bleed-through, which is great, and the Latin and English are the same size; being unable to read the Latin was why I retired my normal-sized Angelus Press missal.) However, especially in poor lighting, I've been struggling now that I have cataracts. When I'm in those situations, this is the missal I bring. It's a LOT easier for me to track visually from one line to another, something that is getting harder as I get older.

I do have a few criticisms: the ones inferred above, but also this edition is literally a reprint of the 2004 regular-size missal, so we're already halfway through the Table of Movable Feasts. This also means that any typos in the 2004 edition are still present, (I just found one in a Saint's day this past week, for example.) The pages are also VERY thin, like the regular-sized missal, and I do wonder if those of us with less-wonderful vision are at greater risk of ripping pages as a result.

I do wish AP would prioritize a cover for this, because I use holy cards as a bookmark oftentimes but they're at risk of falling out (and I am at increasing risk of not seeing it.) A custom cover is almost $100 elsewhere and I just do not have that sort of coin.

HOWEVER, all that said, I still recommend it if you need it. If you attend an SSPX chapel, you may be able to preview it before purchasing, because yeah, it's expensive.

I’ve had it for just over two weeks now and I absolutely love it . Easy to read due to the large print and very well organized. I love the feel of the paper as it reminds me of an old bible. As stated in the advertisement, this Missal is indexed like no other Missal that I have. Easy to find whatever you may be looking for. I’m thinking that this Missal will become a family heirloom. Buy it! You won’t be sorry.

Just what I've been waiting for!

This missal is identical to the smaller one, but great for dark environments, easier to share between two people in the pew, and perfect for us as we age. I love not having to hold it so close to my face during Mass. I'm very thankful for this new larger print!

Daily Roman Missal

A few things, I really don"t care about England or Wales. Way too much information that is really intended for Catechists and clergy. Dying to find the mass and readings was way to complicated and unnecessary for a senior citizen who needs larger print for ease of reading. Don.t buy if your in need of larger print.
