This book is fast-paced, enjoyable, and very inspiring.

Excitement, battle scenes ... it's all there, and boys will especially like it. Although it seems to be advertised for teenagers, all the adults I know who have read it have also enjoyed it immensely. I have been involved in education for 18 years and I really wish there were more Catholic books out there like this one for our youth.

Saint Camillus is a saint we would all do well to acquaint ourselves with, and our children too. So many saints are portrayed as being born that way; Camillus certainly was not! He was a rough soldier, a gambler, a drinker, a fighter, with a hundred faults and sins to overcome before he eventually "surrendered" to God's grace (thus the title). If he could become a saint, there is no excuse for the rest of us not to! Very inspiring and entertaining read! Especially for teenage boys.
