A Shared Responsibility

Come learn more about vocations and this awesome shared responsibility we all have in aiding Holy Mother Church in the continuation and propagation of the Faith. In addition to informative talks delivered by the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) clergy, religious, and traditional Catholic academics, the Conference also includes daily Mass and confession.

Without vocations, the Catholic Faith would cease to exist, and without the assistance of grace procured by priests and religious, many would lose their souls. The awesome reality of a vocation cannot be understood without a clear vision of what this call from God looks like.

Priests have the unique ability to call God down on our altars every day, functioning as the intermediary between us and God. They bridge the gap between this world and the next. They provide the sacraments and offer the Eternal Sacrifice. Men and women in monasteries and convents pray without ceasing for God's mercy and His grace on behalf of all mankind and live in union with Him while still living here on earth. As more and more people attend the Latin Mass, more priests are needed to say Mass, and more religious teachers, monks and nuns, and support staff are needed to further the cause of the Faith.

Much more than an "academic exercise," every year the Conference for Catholic Tradition sets forth practical and spiritual means for Catholics to persevere without compromise. The Conference is also a great opportunity for the faithful to see the extent of the SSPX's work globally, spend three days of camaraderie with like-minded Catholics, and meet priests and religious.
