John Traddington says avoid?

John, do you not know how to parse?

My children do and as a result they express themselves articulately and logically; a quality which is absent from their peers who do not practice parsing.

It would be unfortunate for parents to deprive their children, our future, of said enrichment simply because of your personal attitude. Therefore I offer my insight into the advantage of taking on this study.

-Sincerely,
A mother whose child's English homework was kicked back to her in 6th grade public school
Reason for returned, ungraded homework assigned for re-do: The English teacher could not read in cursive.

P.S. I bet that English teacher also considered cursive to be excruciating drudgery.

P.P.S. I bet the Passion of the Christ was even more excruciating.

P.P.P.S. Do you have a superior text for parsing?

Avoid.

Every student that has had the misfortune of encountering this book regrets being introduced to the excruciating drudgery of parsing. It is a forgettable text that went out of print for a number of good reasons.
