The Faithful are Invited to a 31-Day Novena to St. Joseph
Fr. John Fullerton, District Superior for the United States District of the Society of Saint Pius X, invites the faithful to prayer during the month of St. Joseph.
Dear Faithful,
During the month of March, please join us in making a 31-day novena to St. Joseph, Patron of the Universal Church, to ask his intercession for the following intentions:
- That the work of Fatherhood be recognized and accomplished within the Church and the Family.
- For correspondence to the manifold gifts of God in our lives.
The requested prayers for this novena include the Rosary (5 decades) followed by the Prayer to St. Joseph (To Thee, o Blessed Joseph…) and the Litany of St. Joseph. Then on March 19th, we will publicly renew, at the end of Mass, the Society’s Consecration to St. Joseph that was done on March 19th, 2013. We are also providing a 31-Day Novena to St. Joseph by St. Alphonsus that can be used as a supplement to the requested novena prayers.
May this be an occasion to strengthen our confidence in St. Joseph’s powerful intercession and his protection of the Church.

Today we must pray to Our Lord Jesus Christ, we must pray to the Blessed Virgin Mary to remain true Catholics and to do everything possible to become saints. We must come to church frequently, pray in our church, receive the graces of the sacraments in order to become saints, to sanctify our souls and to go to heaven with all the members of our families and all those who kept the Catholic Faith here on earth and now enjoy the happiness of heaven.
